It’s been about 2 weeks since I started using MG217 medicated tar ointment for psoriasis, three times a day. And I’ve been eating less of the following from my diet.
- Diet Coke – Reduced to 2-3 cans per day to 2-3 cans per week
- Rice – Reduced to 2-3 times per day to 4-5 times per week
- Less grain overall
- Less bread
- Less wheat product
I honestly can’t remember when the hair on my hand started regrowing, but it is highly visible right now. I didn’t notice them until my wife pointed it out to me. I guess it’s a good sign? who knows. Maybe it’s a sign that the skin is getting thinner or the skin cell regeneration rate has been reduced somewhat.
Picture of hair regrowing on my hand with psoriasis condition – I made it a link because some may feel uncomfortable with the close-up picture.
Another thing my wife noticed was that the color of psoriasis area has become darker. I don’t think it’s stained color from the tar ointment. I can actually see my skin color coming back on some spots.
Over the next few weeks, I’m going to start eliminating possible gut-irritating foods from my diet. It’s going to be one elimination at a time. I’m highly suspicious of eggs. If I remember correctly, when I was first diagnosed with psoriasis on my right hand, a tiny patch, I wasn’t a fan of egg. And that tiny spot stayed unchanging for many years. It grew in size over just few years suddenly. Maybe it was when I started my weigh loss diet. I ate a lot of eggs.
Eggs are known to irritate the lining of the gut for some people. I maybe one of them. Over the next few weeks, I will completely remove eggs from my diet to see if it’s going to help with my psoriasis condition.
